Imagine a young woman from the late 80s with a dream, and not just any dream, a dream to sell super amazing hats in an array of colors with a zipper pocket on the front to hold whatever it was your heart desired. Now imagine all of those super amazing hats sitting in storage, because the people of 1987 clearly weren’t ready for their awesomeness. Sad, isn’t it. Well, lucky for us, these hats have a new marketer, Jessica Aceti. The Cap-Sac was created by her mom with the idea of freeing your hands, and your fanny, by placing a pocket on the front of the hat. I was fortunate enough to get a Cap-Sac last summer and talk about all the things I was able to store in it. If I was heading out to the beach, sunscreen and sunglasses; heading out to a show, cash and ID; heading out to a party, chap stick and lighter. Don’t have anything small to store in a Cap-Sac? Who cares! They still look fucking awesome.
Jessica launched the Cap-Sac website last week. Here you can purchase a Cap-Sac, watch the Cap-Sac Rap (and other Cap-Sac related videos), or check out some photos of people wearing the Cap-Sac. There you can find me, my dog, and other friends sporting the fanny pack for your head. So, if you have $12.99 burning a hole in your pocket, pick one up, your head will thank you.
Support Jess and her Cap-Sacs by becoming a fan on Facebook, following them on Twitter, or by submitting your own Cap-Sac wearing photos on the Cap-Sac website.
