A 48 hour film that is. A friend of mine, Celene Ramadan, and her integrator partner, Beau Gunderson, created an unbelievable entry for the 48 Hour Film Project, Seattle edition, titled, Not Forgotten. The challenge of the project is to simply shoot, edit and enter a film in a matter of 48 hours.
Lucky for them, they had one of the most amazing weekends to shoot. Between the Moore Theater’s, Inside Out event, and Ms. Kindra Meyer’s Menagerie Birthday Party, there were more actors/actresses/extras ready and willing to be a part of the magical film. And, I can’t forget to mention, the epic backdrops of the Beta Society Mansion, Moore Theater, and the Woodland Park Zoo’s Zoomanium, at their disposal.
Running 8 minutes 49 seconds, the film stars both Celene and Beau, and features an amazing book puppet, a little green monster, Kindra as the magical unicorn, and Stephani Thompson as the woodland deer. The end result of the 48 hours is nothing short of amazing. The super talented duo will be screening their film today at 9pm at the Harvard Exit Theater, so if you’re in the Seattle area tonight, definitely check it out and support them and other local filmmakers.
Posted below is the film itself, and photos from both the Inside Out event (by Korby Sears), and the Menagerie (by John Moore) that the two attended while filming Not Forgotten.
